When should I use Zebra 3300 wax-resin instead of 2300 wax?
Use the 3300 when labels are handled a lot, need better resistance to rubbing and heat, or are synthetic. The 2300 wax ribbon is enough for paper labels used indoors.
Is the 3300 resistant to solvents?
Zebra states the 3300 has lower solvent resistance. For labels exposed to solvents or harsh chemicals, a resin ribbon on a polyester label is the safer choice.
