About the PERFECT FOR SMALL PRINT CONTENT ON LABELS: XTO + XLS
XTO + XLS is a compact print and apply solution from NOVEXX Solutions that combines the XTO 2" intermittent thermal transfer overprinter with the XLS 204 labeler. The XTO prints small variable content onto pre-printed labels, such as best before dates, production codes, real-time data or barcodes, and the XLS applies them. It suits product labelling in the food, pharma and personal care industries.
The XTO is controlled by the XLS over a single cable, which keeps setup simple. NOVEXX positions it for 2 to 3 lines of print on pre-printed or full colour labels at up to 70 m/min. For box or pallet labels where the whole label is printed, the XPA 93x is the better fit. To label the top and bottom of a product in one step, see the XTD.

XTO + XLS suits product labelling where most of the label is pre-printed and only 2 to 3 lines of variable data are added, with apply speeds up to 70 m/min. The XPA 93x prints the full label on blank or lightly pre-printed stock and is aimed at box and pallet labelling.
What can the XTO print on the label?
Dates, serial numbers, production codes, text, logos and 1D or 2D barcodes such as Data Matrix and QR codes. In intermittent mode the maximum print area is 53 x 100 mm.
Can it be added to an existing production line?
Yes. NOVEXX designed the combination to be compact so it fits into new or existing lines, including those with little space. We handle installation and integration with your line.
How is XTO + XLS different from the XTD?
XTO + XLS prints variable data onto labels and applies them from one position. The XTD is a top and down setup that labels the top and bottom of a product in one step, using XLS labelers and ALX or XPA print and apply systems.
