About the APPLIES 2 LABELS IN 1 STEP: XTD
The XTD Top & Down solution from NOVEXX Solutions labels a product from above and below in a single process step. A typical setup has a labeler applying a pre-printed label from the top, while a print and apply system below the conveyor prints variable data onto a second label and applies it from underneath. It suits food manufacturers and other packers who must fit decorative and regulatory information on one pack.
The XTD is modular. It combines XLS labelers with ALX or XPA print and apply systems in different configurations, for example two XLS labelers on top and an ALX 73X or XPA 93x below. It is compact for easy integration and an optional tandem mode reduces downtime. If you only need to add dates or codes to one label, XTO + XLS is the simpler choice.

The XTD is a configuration rather than a single machine. It combines NOVEXX XLS labelers with ALX or XPA print and apply systems, placed above and below the conveyor, so both sides of a product are labelled in one step.
Can the XTD print variable data such as dates and batch codes?
Yes, when a print and apply system such as the ALX 73X or XPA 93x is part of the setup. It prints the variable data onto the label just before applying it. Pre-printed labels can be applied with an XLS labeler.
How is the XTD different from XTO + XLS?
XTO + XLS applies one label from one position and overprints small content on it. The XTD applies labels to the top and bottom of the product in one process step.
Can the XTD be fitted to our existing conveyor?
