About the ET40/ET45 Enterprise Tablets
The Zebra ET40 and ET45 are enterprise Android tablets in 8-inch and 10-inch sizes. The ET40 connects over Wi-Fi 6, while the ET45 adds 5G/LTE cellular data and GPS for staff who work away from the site network. They suit store floors, warehouses, hospitality and delivery or field teams that need a larger screen than a handheld mobile computer gives them.
Unlike consumer tablets, they are IP65 sealed, survive 1.2 m drops to concrete (1.55 m with the optional rugged frame) and can be configured with a 1D/2D scan engine, including the SE55 advanced range engine on Premium models. An expansion back accessory adds a hot-swappable secondary battery and a rotating hand strap. Compared with the TC22/TC27 or TC53/TC58 handhelds on this site, they give more room for forms, catalogues and dashboards.

Ask Us a QuestionIs the ET40/ET45 still sold by Zebra?
No. Zebra's support pages show the ET40 and ET45 are no longer offered for sale, with a service and support discontinuation date of 30 December 2029. Zebra lists the ET401 as the replacement. Contact us for service on existing tablets or a quote on a current model.
What is the difference between the ET40 and ET45?
The ET40 is Wi-Fi only and suits work indoors. The ET45 adds a nano SIM slot for 5G/LTE data and dual-band GPS, for staff who work outside Wi-Fi coverage.
Can the ET40/ET45 scan barcodes?
Yes, when configured with a scan engine: the SE4100 or SE4710 1D/2D imager, or the SE55 advanced range engine on Premium models. The 13 MP rear camera can also capture photos for proof of delivery or condition.
Will our ERP or WMS app run on it?
It runs Android, so Android apps and browser-based ERP or WMS screens can run on it. We can help set the tablets up with your software.
Do you provide AMC and repair for rugged tablets?
Yes. We provide repair and service and AMC for mobile computers and tablets, with PAN India support.
