TSC TTP386MT
This 8-inch wide industrial printer series features two models to meet your wide format labeling needs: TTP-286MT, 203 dpi resolution at print speeds up to 6-inches per second. TTP-384MT, 300 dpi resolution at print speeds up to 4 inches per second. With its wide printing capabilities, the TTP-286MT is designed to print wide lateral bar codes without the need for image rotation.
The affordable and easy-to-use TTP-286MT Series wide-format thermal transfer printer is ideally suited for compliance labeling, brand marketing, inventory control, drum labeling, warning signs and a host of other signage solutions. The TTP-286MT Series features two models to meet your wide format labeling needs:
TTP-286MT – 203 dpi resolution, 8.5-inch print width, 6 ips (152 mm/second) print speed.
TTP-384MT – 300 dpi resolution, 8.64-inch print width, 4 ips (102 mm/second) print speed.
TTP-286MT Series can accommodate label widths up to 9.5-inches, with a maximum print width up to 8.64-inches at 300 dpi resolution and 8.5-inches at 203 dpi resolution. It also is designed to print wide-lateral bar codes without the need for image rotation.

The TTP-286MT Series features a rigid, full die-cast aluminum frame designed to last in tough environments and supports a large 8.2-inch outer diameter label roll and up to 600 meter ribbon capacity for high volume printing. The TTP-286MT Series features a center-bias label handling mechanism that makes media loading and adjustment easy.

About the TSC TTP386MT
The TSC TTP-286MT series is an 8-inch industrial thermal transfer and direct thermal printer for labels up to 241.3 mm wide. The TTP-286MT prints at 203 dpi and up to 6 ips across 216 mm, and the TTP-384MT prints at 300 dpi and up to 4 ips across 219.5 mm. It suits drum, pallet, compliance and warning labels, signage and two or three labels across.
It holds 208.3 mm label rolls and 600 metre ribbons for long runs between changes. Ethernet, USB 2.0, serial, parallel and USB host are standard, with a 4.3 inch colour touch display and six buttons. Its TSPL-EZ language is compatible with EPL, ZPL and ZPL II. For 6-inch labels see the TTP-2610MT series on the 261MT page, and for 4-inch labels the MH241T.

Which models are in this TSC series?
There are two: the TTP-286MT at 203 dpi and the TTP-384MT at 300 dpi. Tell us your label size and the smallest text or barcode you print, and we will suggest the right one.
Can it print two or three labels across?
Yes. It takes media up to 241.3 mm wide, and TSC lists multiple-up labels with two or three across as one of its applications.
Will it print label formats from our ERP or SAP system?
Its TSPL-EZ language is compatible with EPL, ZPL and ZPL II, so it can often print formats written for Zebra printers. We set it up with your software and test your formats.
Is a cutter available?
Yes. TSC offers a guillotine cutter and a heavy duty cutter, both full cut, as user options. GPIO is available as a factory option.
Do you supply ribbons and labels and service this printer?
Yes. We supply wax, wax-resin and resin ribbons with paper, polyester and direct thermal labels, and offer AMC and repair including printhead and platen roller replacement.
