About the ZT411 RFID Printers
The Zebra ZT411 RFID is the RFID version of Zebra's 4-inch ZT411 industrial printer. It prints a label and encodes the UHF RFID inlay inside it in the same pass, so each carton, pallet, asset or work-in-process label carries both a barcode and an RFID tag. It suits manufacturing plants, warehouses, retail distribution centres and hospital labs that are starting or scaling up RFID tracking.
Zebra's adaptive encoding technology picks the encode settings automatically, which removes complex inlay placement rules, and labels with a pitch as small as 16 mm can be encoded. The ZT411 is the only ZT400 model with an on-metal RFID option, for thicker tags used on IT assets, tools and returnable containers. For RFID labels at a desk rather than on a line, the ZD621R on our site is the desktop option.

How is the ZT411 RFID different from the standard ZT411?
It is the same 4-inch industrial printer with an integrated UHF RFID reader/encoder, so it writes data to the RFID inlay in each label as it prints. Zebra lists RFID as a field-installable option on the ZT400 Series, so it can also be added to a ZT411 later.
Which RFID labels and tags does it support?
UHF tags compatible with EPC Gen 2 V2.1, ISO/IEC 18000-63 and RAIN RFID, with a minimum pitch of 16 mm. Variable inlay placement supports a range of inlay positions, and adaptive encoding sets up the encoder for each label type.
Can the ZT411 RFID print tags for metal assets?
Yes, with Zebra's on-metal version. It prints and encodes on-metal tags and labels up to 1.5 mm thick at up to 300 dpi. The on-metal kit is not available on the 600 dpi model.
Will it work with our existing RFID label formats and software?
It runs ZPL, which is compatible across Zebra printers, and supports multi-vendor chip-based serialization (MCS) and RFID job monitoring. We set it up with your software during installation.
Do you supply ribbons and labels and service the printer?
Yes. We supply paper, polyester and direct thermal labels and wax, wax-resin and resin ribbons, and offer repair, printhead and platen roller replacement and AMC with PAN India support.
