ZD621R RFID Printers
The Zebra ZD621R is a 4-inch desktop RFID printer that prints and encodes UHF RFID labels, tags and wristbands. It uses Zebra's own RE40 RFID reader/encoder and prints at up to 8 ips at 203 dpi, with 300 dpi as an option. It suits retail stores, hospitals, food businesses and small warehouses that need RFID labels in lower volumes at a desk, rather than on an industrial line.

About the ZD621R RFID Printers
Zebra's adaptive encoding technology simplifies RFID setup, and an RFID log records encoding data with timestamps for traceability. The ZD621R builds on the older ZD500R, and Zebra says its architecture is nearly 32% more powerful. Like the ZD621 barcode printer on our site, it has Ethernet, USB, USB Host and serial as standard, and the 4.3-inch colour touch display is standard too. For higher RFID volumes, the ZT411 RFID is the industrial option.

What is the difference between the ZD621R and the ZD621?
The ZD621R adds an integrated Zebra RE40 UHF RFID reader/encoder, so it writes data to the RFID inlay in each label or tag as it prints. Print speed and resolution are the same: up to 8 ips at 203 dpi, with 300 dpi as an option.
We use a ZD500R. What does the ZD621R add?
The ZD621R builds on the ZD500R with an architecture Zebra rates as nearly 32% more powerful, a 4.3-inch colour touch display, 512 MB Flash and 256 MB SDRAM, and RFID job monitoring and logging tools. It supports ZPL and EPL, so existing label formats usually carry over.
Can the ZD621R print RFID wristbands?
Yes. Zebra lists wristbands among its supported media, and patient ID wristbands and hospitality RFID wristbands among its applications.
Can it be used away from a power point?
Yes, with Zebra's optional 2750 mAh battery, which Zebra rates for a full shift of printing at maximum speed, so the printer can be moved on a cart.
Do you supply ribbons and labels and service the printer?
Yes. We supply paper, polyester and direct thermal labels and wax, wax-resin and resin ribbons, and offer repair, printhead and platen roller replacement and AMC with PAN India support.
