Zebra ZD421
The Zebra ZD421 is a 4-inch desktop label printer that prints up to 104 mm wide at 203 dpi, with 300 dpi as an option. It comes in direct thermal, thermal transfer and healthcare models, and suits shipping labels, product and price labels, pharmacy and lab labels, asset tags and wristbands in offices, stores, hospitals and small dispatch areas.

About the Zebra ZD421
The thermal transfer ZD421 is offered with a ribbon cartridge that loads in a few seconds, and it also takes standard 300 m and 74 m ribbon rolls. It speaks ZPL and EPL, so existing Zebra label formats carry over. If you need faster printing, Ethernet and serial as standard or a colour touch display, look at the ZD621. The ZD421D on our site is the direct thermal version.

What is the difference between the ZD421 and the ZD621?
The ZD621 prints faster (8 ips against 6 ips at 203 dpi), comes with Ethernet and serial as standard and offers a 4.3-inch colour touch display. The ZD421 has USB and USB Host as standard, with Ethernet, serial and wireless as options.
Will the ZD421 print our existing Zebra label formats?
Yes. It supports ZPL and EPL, so label formats made for older Zebra desktop printers can usually be used as they are. It can also print from Windows, Android and iOS devices.
Can we add Ethernet or Wi-Fi later?
Yes. Ethernet, RS-232 serial and Wi-Fi with Bluetooth are available as field-installable options, as are a cutter and a label peeler.
Do you supply labels and ribbons for the ZD421?
Yes. We supply paper, polyester and direct thermal labels along with wax, wax-resin and resin ribbons to suit your application. Share your label size and use for a quote.
Do you service ZD421 printers?
Yes. We handle installation, setup with your software, AMC and repair including printhead and platen roller replacement, with PAN India support.
