About the RP4f Series Mobile Printer
The Honeywell RP4f is a 4-inch direct thermal mobile printer for labels, receipts and tags, worn on a belt or shoulder strap or fixed in a vehicle. It prints at 203 dpi, up to 104 mm wide and up to 5 ips. It suits direct store delivery, field service, transport and logistics, retail and airline staff who need a label or receipt at the point where the work is done.
It is rated IP54, survives 2 m drops and 1,000 tumbles at 0.5 m and works from -20 °C to 55 °C. Bluetooth 5.0 with NFC pairing is standard, and dual-radio models add Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. The 4900 mAh battery can be swapped in about 20 seconds without switching the printer off. The RP2f is the 2-inch model of the same series, for receipts and smaller labels.

What is the difference between the RP4f and the RP2f?
The RP4f prints up to 104 mm wide on media from 51 mm to 111 mm, for shipping and product labels. The RP2f prints up to 48 mm wide on media from 25 mm to 57 mm and weighs 0.72 kg against 1.02 kg, which suits receipts and small labels.
Does the RP4f work with Android phones and iPhones?
Yes. It pairs over Bluetooth with NFC tap-to-pair, and its Bluetooth is Apple iOS compatible. Honeywell provides a software development kit for Android 4 and above and iOS 11 and above, and the Print Set MC app for setup.
Can the RP4f print label formats written for Zebra printers?
It supports ZSim2, Honeywell's ZPL-II emulation, along with DPL, IPL, Fingerprint and Direct Protocol. Formats sent from a mobile app in ZPL can often print unchanged, and we test your formats during setup.
How long does it take to charge, and are vehicle mounts available?
A typical charge takes 7 hours. Honeywell offers a vehicle mount with RAM arm, a four-bay battery and device charging dock and a battery eliminator for printers kept permanently in a vehicle.
Do you supply labels and service the RP4f?
Yes. We supply direct thermal labels in sizes that fit the RP4f, set it up with your software and offer repair and AMC with PAN India support.
