About the AP-7532
The AP 7532 is a dual-radio 802.11ac Wi-Fi access point for indoor use from the WiNG 5 range, now sold by Extreme Networks as the ExtremeWireless WiNG AP 7532. It uses 3x3 MIMO with three spatial streams and delivers up to 1.9 Gbps across its two radios, so it suits warehouses, factories, hospitals and offices that run many handheld scanners, mobile computers and voice devices on Wi-Fi.
Compared with the AP 7522, the AP 7532 moves from 2x2 MIMO with two spatial streams to 3x3 MIMO with three, raising the combined data rate from 1.267 Gbps to 1.9 Gbps. It comes with internal antennas for offices and public areas, or with three RP-SMA connectors for external antennas in industrial areas. It is powered over the network cable by 802.3af or 802.3at PoE.

What is the difference between the AP 7532 and AP 7522?
The AP 7532 uses 3x3 MIMO with three spatial streams and reaches 1.9 Gbps across both radios. The AP 7522 uses 2x2 MIMO with two spatial streams and reaches 1.267 Gbps. Both are dual-radio 802.11ac indoor access points from the same WiNG 5 range.
Can the AP 7532 be installed outdoors?
No. Every AP 7532 model on the datasheet is an indoor access point, rated from 0°C to 40°C with internal antennas and -20°C to 40°C with external antennas. It can be mounted above a drop ceiling, under the ceiling or on a wall.
Will our older 2.4 GHz scanners still connect?
Yes. One radio is 802.11ac and the other is 802.11n, so existing 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi devices can connect alongside newer 802.11ac devices.
Does the AP 7532 need a separate power supply?
No. It takes power over the network cable from an 802.3af or 802.3at PoE switch or injector. A separate power supply is available as an accessory.
Can you install and maintain the Wi-Fi network?
Yes. We handle installation and integration, repair and service and AMC for access points, with PAN India support.
