About the Honeywell Granit 1990iSR
The Honeywell Granit 1990iSR is a corded, ultra-rugged handheld area-imaging scanner for standard-range scanning of 1D and 2D barcodes. It is built for warehouses, distribution centres, factory floors and loading docks, where scanners get dropped, knocked and exposed to dust and water. Honeywell's current version is sold as the Granit XP 1990iSR, and it is designed to read damaged and poorly printed labels that slow down ordinary scanners.
Honeywell rates it for 3 m drops, 7,000 tumbles from 1 m and IP67 sealing, with a small, deeply recessed scan window that resists scratches and impact. The SR (standard range) model is meant for normal near-field scanning, and Honeywell offers other Granit models for longer distances. The Granit 1991iSR is the cordless Bluetooth version of the same scanner, for staff who need to move away from the workstation.
Best For
- Warehouse receiving and dispatch stations

What is the difference between the Granit 1990iSR and 1991iSR?
They use the same area imager and rugged housing. The 1990iSR is corded and weighs 320 g. The 1991iSR is cordless, connects to its charge and communication base over Bluetooth and weighs 405 g.
Can the Granit 1990iSR read damaged barcodes?
Honeywell designed the Granit XP to read damaged and low-quality barcodes that are common in warehouses and industrial sites. Read performance still depends on the condition of the label.
Can we use it in a cold store?
Honeywell rates the corded Granit 1990iSR for operation from -30°C to 50°C when it is used with the industrial-grade cable, which is ordered separately.
Will it work with our WMS or ERP software?
It connects over USB, Keyboard Wedge or RS-232 TTL. With keyboard wedge output the scanned code is entered into the selected field, so most WMS and ERP screens need no extra software. We handle the setup with your software.
Do you provide AMC and repair for Granit scanners?
Yes. We handle installation, setup with your software, AMC and repair and service, with PAN India support. Send us your quantity for a quote.
